about

inri088?

this is the upcoming eighth album.

=====

- temp mix of last track added to fill the record in, temporarily. as xenophanes is the intro to the last track - and ended up being a half hour in implementation - the final recording of this lost symphony will likely include many unpredictable turns to come, still. each of the three remaining sections could end up being it's own symphonic piece, and i could require a third cd. we'll see.

- this release will need to have vocal and instrumental versions, like the proverbs release. that will be standard for period 3 & 4 releases.

- don't forget to mix dropped transfer into needlessly neurotic

disc 1:
- reflections
- all you need
- interplanetary isomorphism

disc 2:
- xenophanes
- needlessly neurotic
- finished early impressionist jazz punk demo?

"reflections" was written by myself on megan's grand piano, but played by myself into my computer using her old digital piano as a controller, which was, at the time, in my bedroom. i also borrowed megan's bass to write and record the middle part of "xenophanes". i played sarah's drum kit and sampled the result for "interplanetary isomorphism" and "xenophanes" because it was just sitting around, unused, in the living room. i played melissa's mini classical guitar, which was left in the apartment, on "interplanetary isomorphism".

sean does not appear on this recording, either as a performer or as a writer, but two of the sections of "reflections" were initially intended to be rabit is wolf songs.

about

jessica murray Windsor, Ontario

this is the archive for the artist formerly known as jason parent and now known as jessica murray.

the music here has shifted dramatically over many years, from roots in punk/grunge through to experimental synth pop and into a type of kitchen sink post-rock with heavy electronics. the only consistency throughout is a lack of consistency, guitars and an impressionist aesthetic. "blender rock".
