this was initially a bonus mix for the digital download that was meant to draw closer attention to some of the quieter aspects of the mix by removing the rhythmic components, leaving an ambient soundscape. i released it on dec 5, 2014 as the "quiet isolation mix". in may of 2015, i added a version of this track to the ambient works (inri071) that was identical to the quiet isolation mix, except to augment it with some final effects work that was added to the final mix on dec 7, 2014. i intended to replace the quiet isolation mix with this new ambient mix almost immediately, but didn't get to actually doing it until november of 2017. the quiet isolation mix will be made available on the aleph discs.
