about

the song is thematically about somebody launching themselves off a bridge, so i (jessica) thought it would be an interesting idea to compose a walk passage. the boys in the band were uncomfortable with the idea of using midi sequencing in recording and weren't really interested in the abstract compositional layer, but it was due to ignorance as to how most of the music they listen to was actually made.

composed on sept 22, 2001. isolated in sept, 2014 for inclusion on thru (inri070).
