a commentary on the invasion and occupation of afghanistan.

the first part was written and played on heather's guitar and recorded on a 4-track tape machine in sarah's bedroom in the fall of 2003. the second part is a remix of what would eventually become my second symphony and is meant to represent the sound of the separation and transmigration of two souls; the purpose of this was initially for it to be the audio component of an art show that sarah wanted to put on around the christmas of that year...
