about

i was considering doing an all guitar mix with live guitars, so i set it up through vst synths to see what it might sound like. the piano part covers seven octaves, which makes it unplayable on any guitar i have access to; i'd need more than six strings to play it, there's no way around it. so, i've had to restrict this idea purely to the vst synthesizers.

written and recorded in early 2003. transcribed, slightly rearranged, remixed repeatedly and re-rendered repeatedly over may, 2015. this render from may 15, 2015.

the rendered electronic orchestra includes guitars (electric, acoustic, nylon), guitar effects and guitar noises (knocks, fret noises, pick scrapes).

about

jessica murray Windsor, Ontario

this is the archive for the artist formerly known as jason parent and now known as jessica murray.
